In this popular training, you'll learn:

A structured approach to keeping your students regulated...

...and on top of their emotions. Because unless they're emotionally settled, your pupils with SEMH needs simply can't focus or meet their potential.

Leave with strategies that lead to fewer outbursts, meltdowns and other emotionally charged behaviours... and anyone in school can use them!

Practical, proven de-escalation strategies...

...to use for when students become heightened. We'll show you how to use these techniques in the real world, step-by-step.

So the next time a pupil becomes dysregulated, you'll know exactly what to say and do to minimise their distress - which is good for the child AND good for you!

How to adapt the strategies...

...because each pupil's needs are unique. And we all know that children make the best progress when they receive bespoke support.

So you can do that, we'll walk you through the science of why students with SEMH needs become overwhelmed by strong emotions, and then show you what those adaptations look like in the real world.

Strategies for supporting your colleagues...

...to implement this approach in YOUR school and with YOUR students. So you can see it making a difference in YOUR classrooms.

That means you'll be able to have an impact the minute you walk back through your school's gates!

"I now have a plan and ideas to move my school forward."

"It is lovely to attend a course that is concerned with supporting the child's SEMH need AND upskilling the staff who interact with them. The training was helpful, informative and backed up with realistic strategies and advice. I now have a plan and ideas to move my school forward. Lunch and treats were an added bonus 😀

"The best free training I've been on by far!"

"Was unsure what this training would be like, having been on other free courses, but it's the best one I've been on by far! The training was really useful and gets to the heart of the issues with practical tips from people who have clearly been there and done it! I've now got loads of strategies, as well as the theory and background behind them, to share with my staff.”
